Lately

Some pics from the past week! Siri arrived on Friday morning so I went to meet her and then we had a delicious brunch at a cute café nearby my place. Then we just walked around, all the way to Saint Michel and Jardin du Luxembourg before we heade to Charles de Gaulle to meet Melissa. So good to see them both again!<3 In the evening we had mexican for dinner and then we went out. On Saturday we visited Sacre Coeur and Montmartre and had brunch at Place du Tertre, which is very touristy but also kinda cute. We also went to the Tuileries gardens and enjoyed the sun. In the evening we had a nachos/guacamole/red wine kinda dinner in my place befpre we went out, ended up at Le Ponpon where weknew the DJ and had a great night. Sunday was a very rainy day so we didn't  do much except for having a late three course dinner at Rue Mouffetard. On Monday morning Siri left and I went to school. In the afternoon me and Melissa went for sushi, mmmm. I don't think I will ever have enough. In the evening we went for cocktails with our common friends Mehdi and Nadir, it's crazy how small the world is sometimes. On Tuesday I went to school again and then we spent a few hours together having crepes before Melissa had to catch her flight. Thanks for visiting girls, always a pleasure with you!! I love having people here. The rest of the week I've just been trying to catch up on some school work, went for a walk with Marta in Bois de Vincennes, watched a movie with her yesterday and now we just had lunch togeteher in my place. I'm cleaning my apartment right now before Mathias arrives tonight and stays for a week! Can't wait to see him! Soon heading out for coffee with Rachel and then I'm going to the gym before the aiport tonight. Have a great weekend guys!

On my mind

Hey! Second time in the same day, what's happening? Haha. I'm currently doing my laundry so I'm pretty bored, just waiting for it to be finished so I can go home and have a glass of red wine and watch a movie with Marta. I realised by the way that I haven't told you about my plans for the nearest future. The other day I booked my flight home to Åland, I'll be leaving Paris the 30th of November. We have class that day so I will go straight to the airport after that and fly to Stockholm in the evening. Then I will spend two nights at Mathias place in Norrköping before we go home to the island together on Friday. That way I'll get to see where he lives, hang out with him and then have company on half of the trip home, good plan right? The next Monday I'll start my one month internship. It's a part of our first year as international management students, to do an internship in sales. I'll do mine in Modehuset Alice and I'm so happy about it. It will be great to be back home for a while, work, hang out with family and friends and just chill for a bit. And of course, celebrate Christmas.
We go back to school the 9th of January so I'll be on a plane to Paris the 7th. That's the plan. Even though I love living in this city and am actually starting to get into this whole studying in French thing I think it will be good for me with a little break. That way I'll appreciate it even more when I come back again.

Wednesday

Hello friends! Yesterday I was in school (surprise) and then I spent two and a half hours in the school's library working on a group presentation for our English course. Also went to the gym for a 45 minutes bodypump session. Today we had presentations in the class "economie contemporaine" and I managed to talk for five minutes about the Indian car market in French. Lol. May I add that I didn't choose the subject. It went fine anyways, I think, even though I was very nervous before. Now we have three and a half hours of microeconomics and then I'm heading home. Tonight's plans are as exciting as doing laundry. Will be a blast. Then I'll see Marta I think. In two days Siri and Melissa are coming to visit over the weekend, will be so much fun having them here! How we will squeeze in on 9 sqm though will be a challenge but everything is possible if you have the right attitude.
